**Objectives:**

**Lesson Structure:**
**1. Introduction (10 minutes)**
- **Engage the students:** Begin with a brief recap of what has been covered so far in the "Introduction to Marketing" series.
- **Icebreaker activity:** Ask students to name their favorite product and identify one aspect of why they like it (e.g., quality, branding, price).
**2. Direct Instruction (15 minutes)**
- **Introduce the 4 Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion):**
- **Product:** Discuss features, branding, and life cycle.
- **Price:** Explain pricing strategies, perceived value, and cost considerations.
- **Place:** Distribution channels, online vs. offline presence, and logistics.
- **Promotion:** Advertising, sales promotions, public relations, and personal selling.
- Project a visual of the marketing mix on the whiteboard and go through each element with examples.
**3. Group Activity (20 minutes)**

1. Define the Product – features and benefits.
2. Set the Price – consider different pricing strategies.

4. Plan the Promotion – how will they advertise and promote the product.

**4. Group Presentations (10 minutes)**
- Each group presents their marketing mix strategy to the class.
- Encourage the audience to ask questions and provide feedback.
**5. Conclusion and Reflection (5 minutes)**
- Summarize the key points covered in the lesson.
- Highlight the importance of each element of the marketing mix and how they work together.
- Assign a homework task to create a simple marketing mix for a product of their choice and submit it in the next class.
